SDI Model 500 spotting scope stand

                                 with ball swivel head

Good spotting scopes are expensive and deserve a good stand to hold them steady and secure. The Model 500 costs a little more than the Model 300 but it provides absolute ease in aligning your spotting scope. I think that is definitely worth the extra cost and that is why this is the stand that I use personally.

The scope mounts to the stand with a standard ¼-20 threaded stud and has a ball swivel for quick and easy scope alignment. This is particularly useful if your scope has the female ¼-20 mounting hole but does not have a rotating band on the scope. If your scope does not have the female threaded hole you need the SDI Model 400 which has a saddle mount to hold your spotting scope.

The base legs of this stand reach out to 24 inches between ground contact points for great stability. It adjusts to hold your scope from as low as 8 inches from the ground to as high as 70 inches yet it collapses to a compact 18 inches high and weighs only 4 pounds for easy transportation.

No mild steel parts to rust – no castings to break. Only beautifully anodized aluminum parts in silver and blue with stainless steel and engineering plastic fasteners.

No loose mast sections to get lost or rattle around in your bag.

Align your scope by loosening the ball swivel lock knob and pointing the scope where you want it and tighten the knob to lock the scope in position. One step! Quick and easy!

This spotting scope stand provides exceptional quality at a modest price.
